1. Compression Garment
Wear your compression garment 24/7 for the first 1–2 weeks, then as instructed by your provider.
This helps reduce swelling, supports healing, and improves contouring results.
2. Swelling & Bruising
Mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness are normal and can last 1–3 weeks.
Cold compresses can help during the first 48 hours.
3. Pain & Discomfort
Soreness feels similar to an intense workout.
Take prescribed or OTC pain medication as directed.
4. Incision Care
Keep small incision sites clean and dry.
Do not pick at scabs.
Avoid submerging the area in baths, pools, or hot tubs until cleared by your provider.
5. Activity Level
Light walking is encouraged the same day to promote circulation.
Avoid heavy lifting, gym workouts, or strenuous activity for 1–2 weeks (depends on treatment area).
Most people return to work within a few days.
6. Heat & Sun Exposure
Avoid heat (saunas, hot yoga, tanning beds) and direct sun on the treated area for 2 weeks.
Use SPF once the skin has healed.
7. Lymphatic Massage
Optional but recommended — it can help reduce swelling and improve results.
Typically starts 3–7 days post-treatment.
8. Hydration & Lifestyle
Drink plenty of water to support healing.
Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 48–72 hours, ideally longer.
9. Results Timeline
